SUMMER SWIM COACH
Job Description: Direct summer swim team for the City of Spokane Summer Swim League. Position runs from mid June to mid August including 4th of July and weekend swim meets. Work schedules will vary between early mornings to mid afternoon and some weekends. Swim coach will report directly to the Aquatic Supervisor. Duties include but are not limited to developing seasonal goals, workouts, hosting swim meets, data entering with HY-TEK™, assisting with maintenance and custodial duties and keeping records and reports.
Minimum Requirements: Candidates must have: competitive swimming experience at the collegiate level; strong communications skills; interest and ability to work with children and have the ability to work with swimmers of all levels. Candidates should have the following certificates by start of job: American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard training, CPR for Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and Preventing Disease Transmission.
Rate of Pay: $10.75 per hour
