POOL MANAGER ($10.75/hr) Responsibilities include supervision of overall operation, including all programs at one of six City aquatic facilities. This includes: Training, assigning, supervising, and evaluating staff; ensuring safety of staff and participants, and ensuring that custodial and maintenance duties are done properly and frequently enough to achieve sanitary and pleasing conditions at the pool facility; seeing that facility and equipment functions properly and are in good repair through staff efforts and work order requests; completing and maintaining daily records and weekly reports, and other paperwork as required; ensuring that the public is handled effectively and with consideration using good public relations skills. This position has ultimate responsibility for ensuring that all pool operations are conducted in a safe and healthful manner. The Aquatics supervisor or Assistant Aquatics Supervisor will assign work schedules. Reports to Aquatic Supervisory Staff.

HEAD SWIM COACH ($10.75/hr)

LIFEGUARD ($9.00/hr) Responsible for ensuring the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. Lifeguards must recognize and respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations. Enforce all facility rules and regulations. Inspect facility on a regular basis and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to pool management. Complete records and reports. Participate in regular in-service trainings. Maintain appropriate fitness level. Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor. Reports to Pool Manager; Aquatic Supervisory Staff.
WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR ($9.75) Responsibilities include providing quality swimming instruction at various skill levels following and adhering to ARC "Learn to Swim" program; provide proper supervision; assisting with swim lesson registration procedures; completing paperwork for registration and class records in a timely and accurate manner. WSI are responsible for assisting with routine pool maintenance and custodial duties and other tasks as assigned by supervisors. Work schedules will vary. Reports to Pool Manager; Aquatic Supervisory Staff.
AQUATIC AIDE ($8.15/hr) Aquatic Aide accepts, verifies and receipts funds by counting and recording cash, checks, and credit cards; issue change and receipts for individual and group guests plus process refunds through a computer generated system. Balances cash drawer by comparing register totals with currency, checks and credit card transactions, coupons and voids/refunds. Assists in maintaining operations by following Standard Operating Procedures including keeping equipment and facility operational, clean, and organized. Assist guests by providing information. In addition, Aquatic Aides will assist Lifeguard staff and patrons in using the slide apparatus at various facilities. Reports to Pool Manager; Aquatic Supervisory Staff.
