SPORTS PROGRAMS
The City of Spokane Parks & Recreation Department provides the community with a variety of sports programs and activities that emphasize a healthy lifestyle and the value of play.
Come and join us in our successful programs! We offer youth and adults’ leagues and tournaments, youth and adults skills classes, and summer youth camps.
Leagues and Tournaments
For the team player in all of us, Spokane Parks and Recreation offers a variety of leagues and tournaments for adults. Whether you want to build camaraderie and company pride amongst your coworkers or just have fun with your friends, we have an activity for you.

INDOOR SOCCER LEAGUES: 8 Weeks ONLY $375!
(Ages 18 & older) Teams are guaranteed eight games of forty four minutes (two twenty two minute halves) in all divisions: Men’s I and II, Woman’s I and II, Coed I and II. Player Card (2009-2010) required and can be purchased for $10 at the Skyhawks Indoor Field. Call or email us for more information. Spots already filling! (Register)

Skyhawks Youth Sports
Through skill-building exercises, fast-paced drills and game-speed scrimmages, our Skyhawks programs allow children of any skill level to learn the fundamentals of a variety of sports in a fun, energetic environment.

SoccerTots Youth Sports
By combining fun games and activities for youth ages 18 months to 5 years, SoccerTots helps young children jumpstart their athletic development through a progression of programs in Basketball, Baseball and Soccer.

Tennis Programs
USTA QuickStart Tennis is a great way to get your little one active and introduced to the wonderful game of tennis. Children will learn the basic skills, then progress into learning how to play and score matches in a fun and challenging way.

In conjunction with the City Golf Professionals, our Junior Golf Program is designed to create a positive teaching and playing atmosphere. By teaching the fundamentals of the game, fair play, sportsmanship and personal responsibility, our lessons aim to promote the growth and enjoyment of this great game.

Ice Skating
Whether you’ve never been skating before or want to improve your skills, our lessons provide a great opportunity to learn the basics of this wonderful winter activity. All lessons take place at Riverfront Park’s Ice Palace, recognized as one of the best outdoor skating rinks in the nation!
