VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH is ECOVA!
The day was Friday April 20th 2012 and as many people headed to work hoping for sunshine over the upcoming weekend, ECOVA began clearing the trails at Sekani. Their force was a little over 10 people but with their help trails were cleared and even rerouted. Their skills amazed our Parks and Recreation Department. It was hard work all day long and many pounds were shed. As the day grew to an end and kids began to beg their parents for a family hike, the Sekani trails were ready! Thank you ECOVA for your work on our beautiful trails. More information about Sekani can be found here and information about ECOVA can be found at http://www.ecova.com/. |
